Travelling Light

I didn’t always live this way.

After breast cancer changed my perspective on life in 2009, I started asking myself what I really wanted to carry with me, and what I could leave behind.

My husband and I sold almost everything and chose a life with fewer possessions and more experiences.

Years later, I still travel light.

Not because I need less from life.

Because I want to experience more of it.

New places, new people, unexpected encounters, long walks and stories that sometimes find their way into my art.

I collect memories, inspiration and moments.

The rest has to fit in the backpack. 😉
